Question: How many members actually own a keep net? I haven't used one for a very very long time myself.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

I'm sure we can all find a jam jar, LL Sir.

Oh I'm so up for this although never fished a match in my life.....the hat thing sounds like a giggle, maybe we could raise some cash for a deserving cause in the process?

Bloody good idea Jeremy!! Seriously chaps could this actually happen? I'd be more than happy to help in anyway I can. Personally I think a midlands venue would ensure maximum attendance. :Hat:

Ladies and Gentlemen All ... it seems that there may be a groundswell of interest in such an even in the 2017 season.

I already have a few ideas about possible venues in the Warwickshire/Leicestershire area (at the heart of the National motorway network) ... so I would be happy to undertake the organisation of such an event.

To that end ... and with Mark's permission, of course ... I shall be creating a new thread in the 'Places We Plan to Visit as a Group.'

Please watch there for future developments.

Sir ... I can't guarantee that the venue would provide tiddlers heavy enough to bend cane ... but as the result wouldn't be decided by weight ... it wouldn't matter !!!
