I had to go away and take a deep breath after first seeing this ....... wow, just wow!

I have to ask, how well does the level wind mechanism work?
Hi,
I'm glad to report that the level wind works well but the long arm makes the reel rather heavy and cumbersome which might explain the rarety of this reel as I'm sure it proved to be a commercial flop like a lot of other rare reels.

Thanks for that. Inventive man old Homer!
