The red Supremes are from the 1960's, I believe although I always thought the lever on the back was red also.

I have 4 gold ones ,two have red levers and two have silver levers,Only one has little red washers on the line guard where it is screwed onto the caseing,I have never seen any other royal supreme with these .Has anyone else seen these?

I can say it's a later reel as it has just two screws holding the centreboss on...what's more they are self-tapping screws. Terrible engineering from such a fine company, probably bought about by Shakespeare who bought this company too, before flogging-off their designs to a South African company.

Late 60s Early 70s I would guess. Roundel has Hants on it so pre 74.
