I must have just picked a bad time then, though I was told it wasn't unusual at that time.

Ive also had problems with emails, emailed them just before christmas to ask on a price and availability for a release cap for my Rapidex, had an answer to that one, sent another a few days later to place an order for said cap and have never had a reply!!!!!

Yes, I think Garry is a bit more old-school when it comes to communications. When I was needing to speak to him a while back I found a telephone call to be by far the best way. I gather he checks his email infrequently.
Another thing I've often thought is that the Mill tackle website does no justice to Garry's reels. You can barely get an idea of what his current line up are as there are no decent pictures.

I've been to his workshop twice now and each occasion I must have been there for at least three hours. Once he's gets going you can't shut him up and I never want him to. He is so full of enthusiasm towards vintage tackle especially Young’s reels. It is a delight to be there.

Re: Mill Tackle
Now I've found out what model my aerial is and that it could do with a bit of a refurb I shall give him a ring and try to go along in April.
