super twin spools

Post by Kirpan »

Hi does anyone know in what order the washers go in the push button spools, I have 3 spools and all are different, almost as if they have come apart and someone has just thrown them all together regardless
many thanks

Hi. Apologies for the delay. Here is a Super Twin Regular spool laid out in the order it came apart. Two new and unused boxed spare spools both came out like this.

Pretty good spools I would say.

Thanks that's really helpful , I don't know what the previous owner had done , it was as if he stripped all three at the same time, had a large pile of bits and then just put them together with is eyes closed

Tee, hee. Yes, one should never assume that everyhing we find inside a used reel is as it should be.
