Intrepid elite repair tip

This is for the three way anti reverse version.

I bought an elite on ebay but it would not engage any position of anti reverse.

I removed the side panel and found the Check pawl was not engaging.

The check pawl spring looked as if it was missing.

I removed the whole arm and found the spring was not missing but had broken off and was not coming up through the hole.

I thought I had had it.

I removed the spring and unwound the top coil and bent it up where the hole was. I reassembled the whole thing and voila! it works.

Just thought I would pass this on.
