Both John (Fredline) and myself will accept payment in gold sovereigns! :Chuckle:

It will be good to see you and wagtail, hopefully we can find time for a chat!

I’m hoping to be there, alongside Mrs B and a pocket full of gold sovereigns.

Only one of the above is likely.

Hopefully I shall come away with an Altex no. 1 to go with my Hardy Wanless, as a Christmas present from Mrs B and a nice ledger rod.

I'm sure we will. Hopefully later in the day after the bargain hunters have cleared us out :huray:

I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

By chance, I have had to come back to the UK for a funeral and taken the opportunity to stay on for a while to sort out some things and maybe have a day on the Wandle, I may be able to get there this year. Confirmation later.

I suspect it could be “love”, despite its drawbacks in the rhyming department.

Looking forward to catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. TFF badges will help with new introductions chaps. :Hat:

Still sorting stuff out ready for Sunday, with over 50 rods and several boxes of other tackle to take along...

Just a quick note to say I will be on the Little Egret Press stand at the Tackle Fair on Sunday with my new book Historical Carp Waters along with Chris Sandford and other guests who feature in the book. So it will be a good opportunity to purchase the book and get it signed - also if you have a copy already please bring it along and my friends and myself would be delighted to sign it for you.

I hope it's a good fair for everyone. I was intending to go but the dreaded work has got in the way again! :Cursing: (roll on retirement!)
