Re: Light grease for fixed spool reels
Reel X soft and medium greases are/were marvellous, but the last batch I bought had changed.
I was disappointed to say the least...the soft is now thinner and does fly off the gears if cranked hard...something it did NOT do before. With the huge cost of it at £8 for a tiny tub ( minimum order £40) I can't see me stocking it again.
You might just as well take a quality grease and dilute it with a few drops of high quality oil to achieve the light action the soft gave.
I've still got 'extra virgin' centrepin oil here, but postage costs makes it unviable to send, so I just take it to the tackle fairs I go to.
