But cap &button

Post by Jeremy Croxall »

Hi guys, I recently bought a rod for my sons Birthday, a Milbro Prefect glass rod which is in super condition apart from the butt cap which has been damaged. I have searched on the Internet to find a replacement but no luck. Chapmans offer one but it is too small in diameter. The current one measures 28.7 mm at its widest point where it meets the cork. Can anyone advise where I might find a replacement or if any of you fine fellows have one surplus to requirements and would like to sell it?
Is this the sort of thing I might find at the Redditch tackle fair do you think?

Jeremy,
I will have one, and will pop it in the post with stoppers.
Do you still have the button, or do you need one?
