Just sorting through my tackle and found an old rod that I was given a few years ago by an elderly customer. I'm wondering if anybody could give me any further info. the only mark on it is J P Moreton, Colonade Passage , Birmingham. I did wonder if this ia a builders mark or a retailers mark.It's 7ft and set up as a spinning rod, I've found info on a couple of fly reels but no rods. The gentlemans family were originally from Birmingham but very sadly he passed away several years ago.

Thanks for any help, in the meantime I'm going to give it a go down at the canal with Mepps or Ondex,and my Mitchell 408.
