I feel a butt coming!

Evening Gents,

further to my recent post regarding my quest for Trent Gudgeon this season,I thought you may be interested in a couple of rods I plan to use.
One is a HS&S Sheffield and the other a Craddock Arrow.

Neither are strictly full cane as both have solid glass top sections.
The odd thing both rods needed some work to the butt section in the handle department.
As a result the handle needed to be cut back to sound material,which left the handles a little short.
I had not spent any money at this stage ,so the process continued along these line (tight so and so)
The HS&S was extended by using a spigot and a end bit off a fly rod.
The Craddock was extended using a spigot and Hazel.

Both rods are now ready to go.
