Orange whippings on ferrules?

Can anyone remember which firm used to decorate the mouths of its ferrules with a band of orange whipping?
I have one such, a fairly nasty bottom rod but with a nice built-cane tip, and if it isn't a "name", I think I can find a worthier recipient for that tip!

Brent of Hailsham used orange on their rods, but not sure about decorative whippings on the mouths of metal ferrules.

Chubbs of Edgeware used a very bright orange.

Seven years on (HOW?) I've just seen a photo of a Geo. Wilkins "Trent" with the same orange band of whipping where the reinforcement would be on a more posh rod; I shall therefore consider mine to be a more lowly version (the tip has no splice, and the balance and weight leave a fair bit to be desired), but I'll upgrade the maker from "Anonymous" to "Possibly Wilkins".

Would Geo. be George or Geoffrey?
