New Rod. The Perfect. Yes!

Post by Scott »

Yes indeed! I'm well pleased with this little purchase. I've been wanting a salmon rod for a while but with a rather poor financial situation haven't been able to justify any purchases. So I sold a rod for £40, saw this on the bay for £39.99, nobody else bid on it!

It's in great condition, probably had a refurb at some point. Very light, 11', I reckon it's probably a #7/8, would make a great float rod with minimal conversion but I think I'll keep it in its original condition.

I'm over the moon with it, just need to find some salmon fishing now, I think I'll venture over the border into Scotland, I fancy the Annan, after all you don't need a salmon licence there and I'm quite close here in Cumbria. Need a salmon reel, anybody got one to get rid of?

Cheers, Scott

A splendid find Scott, Sir.
