Kennet and Avon Devizes

Post by EdNash »

Well folks, have just managed to use my latest acquisition on that lovely muddy ditch, the K and A. A Kennet Special rod refurbished by Youngs. Had some nice tench and a common carp of around ten pounds. Rod handled beautifully.

Excellent news Ed, Sir. :Hat:

K & A at Devizes is absolutely superb ! Excellent water - so a great location for cane as you can fish for roach thru to large tench, pike, carp and bream.

I have thinking of joining one of the Clubs with a Stretch of the kennet and Avon Canal next year. Need to check where the closest is and if my Little lad can come with me and if he approves it!!

My son and his wife have recently moved to the area and he works very near the Caen lock system there. I am hoping to have a bash around that area sometime myself, so will watch this thread with interest.

Been through the Caen Flight on a narrow boat holiday just needed another holiday after it.
