The most precious places in the English landscape are those secretive corners,
where you find only elder trees, nettles and dreams. (BB - Denys Watkins-Pitchford).

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

My first ever fishing trip, armed with a long pole of bamboo, accompanying one of my father's work man was 40 yds from this very spot!!

Only 30 plus years ago.

Didn't catch much, some things remain the same.
