looks very much like a model called the royalty,they named a lot of rods after the local rivers,avon and stour, the throop rod was very popular

Thanks Chubman that's a nice bit of information as I mentioned earlier there isn't any other identification on the rod other than the Priory logo weather it's been removed during a past refurb I don't know so great to have an idea of the model!
