I managed to winkle out a renovated Ogden Smith's "Arun" in 2011. I've only managed one outing her so far. But it was quite a christening of a glorious rod. I've seen 3 of these rods and they all vary quite a bit in their action/feel. Does anyone else have one???

Looks like a lovely rod Badger1, coupled with my favourite Aerial and fish :D .

Well it's taken many years to hunt this stuff down and working like a dog. Also prioritising on the none essentials :-) i.e. old banger of a car etc.
These "Aruns" are unusal, one went silly on Ebay a few weeks ago but that was a later one. The early ones don't have transfers....well I've not seen one with a transfer. They just have the ink script above the handle.

Bit worried about a possible soft spot about 6 inches below your butt ring on that rod, Badger. Might just be a trick of the camera though...I hope so.
