Yes. I have the Elasticane and the Elastiglass 10ft versions that I use for pike; the the split cane version does very nicely for carp as well.
The coiled line travels from the reel, it brings up at last, the hook goes home, and then begins the test of skill. "BB"

Whilst these rods do appear to have been beautifully refurbished I cannot help but feel that he is being a tad too Jackanory when it comes to the rods descriptions.

He's being a tad naughty and advertising a centrepin reel alongside the rod but not selling via ebay. Regardless, I would want a longer handle on a 12' rod. 22" is a little short!
