Post by TraditionalAngling »

This photograph was given to me many years by a maker of stain glass windows. At the time he was a repairer of stain glass and also made up items to order.Sorry I do not remember his name.Someone has the original stain glass panel there was only one ever made. His name is on the bait tin.

There's a very lucky man out there somewhere !!! :Thumb:

I would really like that stained glass panel - but then I would need to buy a suitable old cottage to install it in

I have to be honest - I don't like it! It looks kind of freakish to me with the cartoon characters and more naturalistic Bernard: like Who Framed Roger Rabbit if you know what I mean? With one or the other it would have been good but as it is I certainly wouldn't give it house room and as I find it a little creepy.

Well is was a cartoon strip and as a human Bernard had to be naturalistic as he was not a cartoon person by any means. The guy who did the stain glass did also repaired church windows hence the picture showing as he did maybe he should have added a halo ?
