Certainly looks like that reel MHC, as you say looks like reel bands on the rod as well, nice to see a multiplier in use and especially in the 60's.

Yes late Sixties as there's a Cortina MkII in the film and they didn't arrive until 1966

Hard to be sure about the rod, It might be a Swimversa or a Craftversa..certainly one of the two and the reel is a 'wheel in the hole' Hardy Conquest.

Did you notice how laden down they all were walking off the areoplane at Inverness .. Long rod with BV ...me thinks Craftsversa ... Did Milwards give him that rod I wonder ?
