Chris Ball

Post by Mark »

The latest figure to enter the TFF Hall Of Fame is none other than Chris Ball.

Angler, writer, tackle collector he must have one of the finest collections of traditional fishing tackle that I have ever seen. Chris brought a good selection of his tackle to our gathering at the Trout Inn in Gloucestershire in June of last year. For those that were there they saw original Walker rods, landing nets and the Redmire scales to name but a few. I shall be putting up some more pictures over the next couple of days.

Just look at this 30lb 12oz lovely dark common caught on traditional tackle.

Excellent !

Yes, well deserved - and what a stunning common: one of the best carp fishing pics I've ever seen. :Thumb:

Yes true, I quite like the story of finding the original Redmire Punt.

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish
