£303 seemed good value, maybe the winning bidder was a time waster and didn't really want such a quality reel :shocked:

I wondered that but the auction only finished at 8pm last night so seems a bit quick for that to have happened.

I own a very similar reel - in chrome - as the two above (one sold and the other for sale).

I was able to find that mine was made by a Tom Kelsey. About whom I know - nothing!

I think it's a slightly different reel as it has a secondary set of ventilation holes in the top flange.

It can only be a matter of time before I see the advert - Allcock's Aerial Centre Pin for sale or would consider exchange for small freehold bungalow.
