New member from Sussex
Good evening. I am a new member from West Sussex. Although I have odd bits of tackle that sit in a box or on a shelf my main interest in vintage tackle is using it.
I love seeing immaculate restorations and collectors' items but just as much appreciate an old reel with an imaginative homemade repair or rod rescued from the kindling shed and put back on the bank despite an horrendous kink or unsubtle bit of splinting. Though I may be biased; a lot of my kit is just like that.
I've been fishing s long while but as I said in my missive to the tjose I had to convince into letting me join the T.F.F, " I'm living proof that age, enthusiasm and experience doesn't always equal angling success."
Thanks for letting me join.
