I know what you mean about the estate tench lake. This was my summer dream tench fishing pool until flooding and otters killed it. :(

Great to have another like-minded compatriot onboard.

I wonder if the days of finding a long lost/forgotten tench pool are now pretty much in the realms of fantasy. Since the advent of Google maps every tiny blue patch in the country must have been investigated somewhere along the line.
