Hi from darkest Essex
Hello all,
I'm John. Aged 71. I returned to fishing a few years ago after many years out. I think I have made a lot of tackle dealers very rich by buying everything in sight. When I found I needed a trolley to get my stuff to the bank I decided it was time for a rethink and concluded I was happier keeping it simple and using some of the tackle that I used when I was in my teens.
So other than incessant buying of Centre pin reels my life is now back to normal.
Tight lines.
John

There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.

Welcome aboard John from lightest Essex.
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.
