Re: Greetings from the Shannon
Welcome to the Forum, I have happy memories of a fishing holiday taken at Athlone on the Shannon in the 80's. Bagged up on bream, but got drowned in the process! loved it though.

Wlcome to TFF. What a wonderful home! The Shannon is fantastic. I spent two boat holidays there, fishing for pike. And I plan to go again next year with the kids. Best, Bobby

I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures of your floats, rods and reels - and of course of the Shannon!

There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.
