Yet another Yorkie
Hi all, my name is Phil
I’m 68, retired, and have fished all my life thanks to my Grandfather, who took me to the Lune and Border Esk in the early 60s. I live near Sheffield, support the mighty Blades, and carry the other two mortal fishing sins, antiquarian books and vintage tackle.
Looking forward to joining in discussions, and I will undoubtedly learn a great deal from other forum members.
Thanks for listening,
Phil.

Welcome into the TFF Phil, I’m sure you’ll enjoy reading the pages, I’m from Barnsley and there are several other local cane benders in the area. If you’re a regular angler keep in touch

Hi there and a hearty welcome to this special place where gentleman anglers abound! You will enjoy the banter, wise words and witticisms from all who contribute. It does become a little addictive but that's no bad thing in my book!
