Welcome,looking forward to seeing your floats and will be interested in what you catch from the chelmer,been trying to get my mate to give it a go as he lives down that way.

Thank you for this Tony - look forward to the shots in due course - I'd love to have a crack at float making but I'm pretty cack handed. Last night on the Wye I found I had left all my floats at home - not much use when you're fishing hemp and tare. So I cut an elderberry twig, smothered it in Vaseline, applied two float rubbers and fished on. Only caught bleak but maybe elderberry twigs are a float making material?
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......
