Re: Hello from a new member....
I must have been through the mid life crisis without noticing, maybe because I've had sports cars (and bikes) for the last 50 odd years.

Welcome to the TFF, Richard!
For me it's more a reel crisis. Last year I bought my first centrepin. Today I already have 5. Be careful and remember that you only have two hands for angling!

Welcome to the forum, Richard. You can have it all .... both the sports car and the traditional tackle. I'm a little concerned about your user name though, as traditional anglers are far above average and catch fish with so much more panache than those who use modern equipment.
Its good to have you aboard.

Re: Hello from a new member....
I seem to be having a midlife crisis myself... I hanker after cane rods, motorcycles and cuddly blondes.... oh wait... it seems my whole life has been a crisis
Welcome Sir... Beware... the lust for cane is highly addictive, bested only by the desire to own suitable reels to match them...
