Hello from Berkshire

Post by Gudgeon Jim »

Hello all
i thought i should introduce myself
As the name implies im a sucker for a bit of gudgeon fishing i fish the Wasing estate river stretches for the little beauties.
my other passion is Tenching round the day ticket waters in Berkshire.
Im a built cane user with a speedia centrpin and sometimes the old starback.
I collect cane poles not the cheap jap ones i might add , there usually found in bad condition which i restore fully and have used once or twice.
I also buy cased fish when there cheap which is usually in poor condition and renovate them. I might one day come across a cased Gudgeon Minnow or stickleback in my price range pieces i do desire.

Heres a big un i caught this season

Hello Jim.

Tell us more about your cane & gudgeon fishing in due course.

I had a lovely gudgeon & my first for some years from the Wey at Farnham recently.

Enjoy the forum.

Craig.
