Garren Brook

Post by JimmyBobkin »

Hello.

Close to Redmire Pool, there is a well hidden pond, just adjacent to Garren Brook. I noticed it on Google Maps today. Anyone know anything about it?

Do you mean the small pool just below Redmire in the woods?
If so that is Little Redmire and is on the estate.
It contains the same carp as Redmire as smaller fish are often removed from Redmire and taken to Little Redmire.

I fished it last year Sweetcorn Kid had some nice carp out of it in the past, its very very silted up perhaps 2 foot deep max with a few feet of silt only two or three accessible swims.
Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

It does get fished but not very often as people want to fish Redmire itself.
It is very over grown and in summer is covered in duck weed.
