Sometimes stories are given to us to transcribe. Some consider these tales, be they joyous or sorrowful to be merely works of fiction, the workings of the imagination that pours forth under a fevered brow. Others, well they know differently…

A very thoughtful response there young Beresford. Excellent !

Mark's inspirational post earlier this evening with his rather delightful traditional wooden tackle box and his terrific cane bank sticks courtesy of Dave A - reminded me....there is of course one further image that belongs to this All Hallows' Eve Ghost Story....the wooden box found at the base of the old Bernithan Oak in which the parchment was hidden..............

Well done barbulus.

For those unaware, there is a single entry in Chris Yates's "Four Seasons", around this time of year. It covers a whole week and simply says (from memory) "The events of this week will always be a complete mystery to me. Did I hook the king, did I even cast? I discussed it with Jack The Roadman and he could offer no explaination"

It is jarring in context of the dairy because every other week on Redmire is written up in microscopic detail.
