That Brian was a tad over-dressed in shirt and tie I think.

Lovely Beresford, thanks for that.

God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.

Lovely to see and hear BV ... "it's a slow, unhurried sort of fishing." Perfect.
"Beside the water I discovered (or maybe rediscovered) the quiet. The sort of quiet that allows one to be woven into the tapestry of nature instead of merely standing next to it." Estaban.

All of my fishing is slow and unhurried Sir, that's why I like to fish so much. :Hat:

I don't know about you but I wouldn't call hooking into a big pike or large carp to be slow and unhurried. Sometimes it all gets a bit frantic and super exciting! But bream fishing is lovely for a slow and unhurried style of fishing.

I'd love to catch a big bream on a cane rod in a traditional crabtree way.
But it's not always possible.
Most anglers I see these days have success fishing at long range for them
with boilies and buzzers.

Great clip and who wouldn't want to fish in that era knowing what you know now
Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish
