That is a belter, it looks as if it is yet to spawn. Well done to you and Andy Davis, a great combination of fishing and rod making skills.

Brilliant fish and a very nice rod and reel; what a day to celebrate ! Very envious as I haven't caught a barbel for a few years - probably because I have been fishing for a barbel for a few years I think ! Anyway, a delightful set of photographs and narrative to reflect a great day out. Inspiring ! :Hat:

Fabulous fishing it was a spectacular fish ,quiet short ,typical of some Dove fish. William looks after his rods just look at the images you will notice he uses both sides of the rod,a great way to even out the pressure playing large fish and never puts to much pressure on the tip.. Well done mate.
