I have a speedia which I love to use here in Orstralia, sadly one of the handles has gone sticky and I have stopped using it. How should I tackle this (sorry no pun intended). The handle is obviously not removeable ?

Re: Handle is sticky
Squirt some plus' gas at the top and bottom of the handle and see if it improves.
Also Check the handle is not bent over.

Re: Handle is sticky
At a guess 'something' is reacting with the plastic handle...I wonder if a good long flush with water might sort it out, especially down the handle shaft less it do even more damage there.
It water doesn't neutralise 'it'...whatever it is....you might try something else but I think I would steer clear of oil-based solvents....I can't help but suspect it's something 'petro-chemical' that's done this.
I once had a most surprising success with petroleum Jelly on a 'rotting' rod butt rubber....whatever was making it rot was completely neutralised by the PJ.
