9 foot j.s.sharpes carp stalking rod.

Hello everyone, I have a 9 foot carp stalking rod. What sort of tc do the rods have and what bs line would you use on it. what's the history behind the rods are they any good cost me £50 off ebay. I would put a few pictures up but don't no how to do it and I am using a phone if I could email them to someone they could put them up that would be a great help.
