thats one sad loss sharpes impregnated rods aberdeen, what lovely colour and quality of the cane, :cry:[*] they made mk 1v carp and avon rods, but not many if you see one snap it up, though sharpes rods had a ferrule problem of some of them splitting,

Did you mean the original, Aberdeen built rods, Stephen? Or the Ruislip ones?
