Edgar Sealey Supreme

Post by Reedling »

Here are pictures for reference of my rod which was purchased at a bootfair. This is how the rod came complete with poppered bag and knurled alloy ferrule bungs. The length is a fraction over 12 foot but I could probably make it exact if I were to push the ferrules together further and it looks like it has had very little use. I must be honest and say I have not used this rod yet but will wet a line with it this year.

That is a great find at a boot fair, if the price was right. Looks to be in fantastic original condition

If my memory serves me correctly it was £4 and as far as my knowledge of these things go it looks all original and super condition. I am looking forward to giving it a go later on and I will pair it to my Rapidex or maybe try my TFG Classic with it as well.

I have picked up some lovely bits and pieces at the bootfairs (Fishing, local history books and collectables etc) most need a bit of work, but some like this rod came virtualy ready to go, I am really pleased with it.

As I am sure you are aware, like fishing you have to put the time in to get the results and it is always a pleasure. Like fishing,on a blank day just a good look around is enough to please.
