Sealey advertised the Floatcaster De-Luxe as " The Best Cheap Bottom Rod On The Market " In 1958.

There was a small series of 'Peter Butler' rods produced and numbers would have been low. I have a 'Roach' and another that I think from memory is the 'Specimen Hunter'
'look, Dad, its lying flat'!...'Yes,Peter,wait'....presently it moves across the water and slides under...'Now,Peter. STRIKE!'

My 12' DeLuxe is a whole cane butt and split cane middle and tip sections with porcelain butt and tip eyes... both of which are quite fragile...
Just one more cast love, and I'll be on me way home

Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures and memories
