I think you're right MD. I'll be restoring this one I think to try for wildies with. If I become too afraid to fish for them with it then it just won't get used and will have to be sold and that I don't want to do.
God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.

Oh yes. Very capable rod. Even more so than the 11ft. I have the 11ft and the 12ft. I've had carp to about 8lb on the 11ft and a little bigger on the 12ft. They bend like mad but they have coped well enough.

You yourself know the fight of the wildies, I even saw a certain well known Angler from our very own TFF almost get pulled over by one last week. That's a whole other story though and one I'll let him tell you about.
