Post by The Sweetcorn Kid »

Chaps

Anyone happen to know the bore size of the tip ring of an LRH no2??

Got one on its way and would like to order one.

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm...did you get the one on offer recently on the well known auction site? Well done. Glad it has come to the right place! :Hat:

Was quite tempted myself. Congratulations Sir! :Hat:
So what is the matter? A broken tip ring? Or broken inlay?

Don't know yet, but in the listing it says it could do with a rewhip and a set of eyes, appears a few are slightly rusty. May well be able to clean them up and reuse them. Guess I'll wait to see how it looks when it gets here.

Hi Stu,

Do you mean the hole the line goes through or the hole in the ring the cane goes into to glue it on? If you mean the hole the line goes through I have two. The lined tip on one of my rods is 4.5mm. On my other unlined one it is is 6.8mm.

Now that I have done that I am sue you must mean the gluing hole...

Nice rods, and very powerful. What monsters are you after?

Haha...Yes the hole the tip of the rod goes into.

Monsters? Me? Never.
