Well done Matt, you'll love it.

I have a Mk1 which came to me with both a broken tip and a crushed butt. With a new tip and a repaired butt, it is now my favourite float rod by far.
I am careful with it though, the Mk2 is fine in the tip but the Mk1 is finer still.
That said, I regularly use it at a Devon lake which contains mainly crucians, but with a goodly amount of tench too. The tench run to about 3lb and as you can imagine, fight rather well...
