Sorry Mark - it is ferruless match/float rod - not sure of the length but it has been mentioned on this Forum once before.

I think it is whole cane/Spanish reed with a split cane tip.

Any more info would be great - please?

Dawsons of Bromley Medina swing tip split cane rod – 8ft 2pc with red agate butt and tip guides – c/w alloy locking reel fittings – makers Light House decal label ( some wear) – used

The Allcocks version above seems to be a sea rod from the description.

Hi gents,
here is a photo of a very rare Allcocks Lake. 3-piece spinning rod for salmonids or small pike. It should be 9 ft 6 long. Unfortunately it is not in my possession... :Cry:
