I think the man with the closest to a complete list would be Pete Carmen of The Last Cast.

Some rods were just given a product code, and not a name, but the Isis, Wizard and Holdwell all appeared with the later Top Tackle, green and black label, the Isis even appearing with a fibreglass top section towards the end. It started with two green-heart ones, I seem to recall, making it a float rod and a leger rod too, but they also did a near identical Combination.

The gold labels appeared with black handwriting style lettering before going over to the more familiar red letters. Many rods had no labels even if they did have names, the only rod that I know of from the Thirties with a name on was the green spiral labelled Wallis Wizard, but there might have been more.


There's a Water Wolf I seem to recall, with a gold label and red writing.

Sounds solid when I tap it! Same feel / weight as other rods of similar length / dimensions in cane here.

Nice rod, though. Needs re-rigning this last while.
