Can someone please confirm the matching colour for the thread

the original allcocks colour was called hot orange,i reckon they did not use a sealer coat, so it ended up as a red

Wal has rebuilt my Wizard and this is the colour he used... not sure what the colour is called but it looks stunning... maybe drop him a pm and he'll give you the colour name...? Hope this helps

Hi Dollar, the thread I used is Nylon Fishhawk scarlet No 326. It darkens a bit if not sealed so if you want a bright colour, close to the original, seal it with cellulose lacquer or PVA first.

Harrys rod is shown with just a couple of sealer coats and one coat of varnish. The picture below is of a fully finished rod done in the same thread.
