Great save Lee. Much too nice to be binned!
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

It would have been rude not to,well done that man :Thumb:
Would the whippings have been black/white originally although some look black/gold or perhaps just yellowed with age?
There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.

I live in hope that I will save such a rod from destruction and provide it with a new home but so far I have had no such luck. I still live in hope though. Well done. :Hat:
The coiled line travels from the reel, it brings up at last, the hook goes home, and then begins the test of skill. "BB"
