Hey chaps,

does anyone have better pictures of these rods? And how do they perform? Would they do well as a stalking rod?

Thanks for your help folks!

Thank you MG but this one looks different. The one I got offered has a handle with screwed reel fitting. Anyone seen such a version?

This is my Challenger. I got it from a fellow forum member. It was completely stripped when I got it. I rewhipped and lacquered it. The transfer has partly been removed before I got it. It´s 9´6. Excellent rod. I am not happy with the lacquer job I have done, so I started to take the top layer away and will redo it now that the pike season is over. Best, Bobby

Christopher, my Challenger is a substantial rod. It is good for dead baiting for pike. For carp stalking I find it too heavy. But I believe Dawsons also made Challenger carp rods in 10´. I heard that these are superb rods. Perhaps that´s what you are looking for. Best, Bobby
