It seems our esteemed new Honorary Member has made it into the stocking fillers section of the 2016 M&S Christmas catalogue. (Yes that's correct the Christmas catalogue that came through the letterbox at the beginning of October!)

Re: Yates at M&S
Are you referring to the beard trimming and manicure set?

It looks like they want £19.50 for the book and a little tin flask.

I can do the paperback version and a can of Pepsi for £3 plus P&P
There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.

As Mrs. AC says most men, including me, are simply small boys but with more expensive toys ... of course I am allowed a stocking !!! (I'd only worry if I had a pair !!!)Kevin wrote:Do men have a stocking, like a small child at Christmas

Re: Yates at M&S
I understand the ladies wisdom, but I thought the idea of a stocking was to keep the boy in bed giving the parents time to sleep in and sort the hang over out,why do they want you out of the way, playing poker ?
My method was to put all my sons presents, including chocolate, next to his bed once he had fallen asleep, knowing I would get to at least lunch time before he came in waking me up.
I love Christmas..
