A 'River Diaries' Photo Found
Under direction from my Gaffer, I've been 'tidying up' my study and fell upon a lever arch file containing photos I'd long believed lost. Among them was this image of a 5lb 1oz chub, taken on a trip to Burgate on the Hants Avon, dated 17th February 1984. Now, if you reach for your copy of 'River Diaries', page 271, you'll read the honourable Yates's account of that trip and mention of that very fish. 35 years later and the circle is squared

What a wonderful find Ray. Proper chub that.

Three of my son's have mentioned I look like a 70's porn star .........quite how they would know what a 70's porn star looks like, I'm not sure, unless they found the old VHS video tapes that were with the 'lever arch file' !!!!!!JAA wrote:The 1970's rang and asked for their 'tache back.
