As long as she didn't add to the residual ammonia levelsRBTraditional wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 12:50 pm Personally I don’t have a problem with wild swimmers... I had a very nice young lady swim through my pitch during the summer. We bumped into each other that evening in the pub and had a lovely chat, discussing how beautiful and unspoilt the Rother levels are, wildlife, fishing etc etc.... most charming.
Just one more cast love, and I'll be on me way home

We will be pessimistic enough if the EU environment laws disappear. Theyve already said they want to throw them out.
Wild swimmers unlikely to be trouble. Most summer bathers stick to one spot.

Part of the problem Stathamender is getting diverse groups to agree on a joint plan of action that will benefit both parties. We see this on the Wye where many attempts have been made to reconcile the needs of canoeists and anglers. But hostilities remain in some quarters, and this undermines the trust that is needed for an arrangement to work.
Even on our Local Fisheries Group for the Wye, which has recently devised a draft Action Plan for salmon and sea trout, different angling organisations, all passionately committed to saving the salmon, have alternative ways of applying resources (time, energy and money) to the enormous challenges the river faces, let alone the ones that are coming down the line.
It’s people and politics Stathamender, and it always will be....
